Pagans written by Jamie Yerkes (Spin the Bottle) & Amy
Sohn (Avenue Amy and best-selling author of Run
Catch Kiss) and directed by Yerkes. A horror film with
a comic twist about a glam rock band that reunites to record
a new album on the anniversary of the suicide of the former
lead singer. This low-budget DV horror film premiered at the
Hamptons International Film Festival in 2003.
Getting Off written & directed by Julie Lynch. Intensely
personal and fiercely independent, this feature deals frankly
with the dangerous nature of transgressive desire and the sacrament
of saving oneself. Stars include Bill Sage, Brooke Smith, ER's
Christine Harnos and Tony-winner David Marshall Grant. This
film premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival, and
played Seattle and SXSW.
The Mole written & directed by Rich Mauro. Investigative
Reporter goes down in the subways of New York to find herself
lost and battling the homeless moles of the city. Starring John-Luke
Montias (Bobby G. Can't Swim). This low budget ($25K)
DV film played New York International Independent Film and Video
Festival and NoDance.
Shooting Vegetarians written & directed by Mikey Jackson.
Stars Elodie Bouchez (two-time Cesar winner, Best Actress at
Cannes 1998 for her role in The Dream Life of Angels),
Guillermo Diaz (High School High, Half Baked),
Brooke Smith (Silence of the Lambs, Vanya on 42nd
Street), and Didi Conn (Grease). Played Woodstock
Film Festival.
The Pink House is written by Ian Williams and directed
by him and Tessa Blake, and star Heather Matarazzo (Welcome
to the Dollhouse), Fred Weller (The Business of Strangers)
and the Squirrel Nut Zippers. A zany college comedy.
Martin and Orloff written by and starring Ian Roberts,
Katie Roberts, & Matt Walsh and directed by Lawrence Blume.
Ian and Matt are members of the Upright Citizen's Brigade, which
ran for three seasons on Comedy Central and film co-stars former
Late Night Show host Andy Richter, SNL's Amy Poehler and Tina
Fey, and Mr. Show's David Cross. In this absurdly funny movie,
Martin survives a suicide attempt and seeks help from the even
crazier Dr. Orloff. www.martinandorloff.com
